What if the boxes don't sell?
We pick up unsold boxes every day. You never carry inventory risk. If something doesn't move, that's on us, not you. Anything left over gets donated to families on the island who need it.
Do I need extra staff or kitchen space?
No. We provide the fridge, stock it, and pick up old boxes. When someone grabs a box, you ring it through your existing POS like any other sale. That's it.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No long-term lock in. We start with a trial period so both sides can see if it works. If it doesn't fit, we pick up the fridge and part ways.
Who pays for the electricity?
You do, but a small display fridge like this uses about the same as a light bulb. Expect around ₱150-200 per month on your electricity bill.
What about food safety?
Every box is made fresh that morning and kept refrigerated from kitchen to fridge. Nothing ever sits longer than a day. Unsold boxes are picked up and donated, never resold.
We are Marcus and Thomas.
We live on Siargao. We train every day. And every day we ran into the same problem: finding a proper high-protein meal without seed oils, without plastic, with actual macros on the label. It doesn't exist here.
So we built it. We partnered with local kitchens who share our standards and created a meal box we would actually eat ourselves. Honest Island is not a franchise or a chain. It is two people who got tired of compromising on food and decided to fix it for everyone on the island.
